Glam Polish: You're Never Too Old to be Young, Part 2

Good evening lovely readers, I have some very special polishes to share with you all tonight! Here are the remaining colors from Glam Polish's "You're Never Too Old to be Young" Disney-inspired collection, full of magical rainbows and nostalgia!

Glam Polish Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah

Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah is a positively gorgeous rose shimmer with plum undertones filled with gold sparkle, and has a lovely linear holographic effect. This was a huge favorite of mine, it's just so perfect! The color and finish are incredible, and the formula was truly superb, needing only two coats for full coverage. Shown here with three coats and top coat.

Glam Polish A Whole New World

A Whole New World is an enchanting violet-plum packed with golden sparkle and a wonderful holo effect. This is another stunning color that I just loved! It seems to shift from a rich royal purple to a plummy wine color, and the gold sparkle adds amazing dimension and beauty! A Whole New World is a perfect representation of the beautifully embroidered magic carpet from Aladdin.! The formula was also perfect, and was smooth and even with excellent coverage. Pictured here with three coats and top coat.

Glam Polish Friend Like Me

Friend Like Me is a rich indigo shimmer with pink and blue sparkle and a strong linear holo effect. This is another incredible, and very special, polish that I loved wearing! Robin Williams made Aladdin's genie so hilarious and fun, and I love that this beautiful blue captures him so well. The formula was also smooth, even, and wonderful. Here I've used three coats with top coat.

Glam Polish Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo over Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah

Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo is a pastel glitter topper filled with periwinkle, rose, mint, pale pink, and holographic silver hexes and stars in a clear base. I love this sweet color combination, and it really looks like it's filled with bits of fairy magic! The formula was easy to work with, and the glitters applied and distributed nicely. Shown here is two coats plus a coat of Gelous and top coat, to smooth it out.

Glam Polish Pictures in My Head

Pictures in My Head is a dazzling blue-toned apple green with strong gold shimmer and flecks and a scattered holo effect. I know I sound like a broken record, but seriously, this green is crazygorgeous, and super unique to my collection! The golden sparkle gives this color incredible depth and a duochrome-like effect, and the holo is even more noticeable in person. The formula, as with all of these colors, was phenomenal. Pictured here is three coats plus top coat.

Glam Polish Can You Feel the Love Tonight

Can You Feel the Love Tonight is a bright turquoise shimmer full of gold sparkle and a beautiful soft linear holo effect. This is another color that really resonates with me; in addition to being the perfect shade of turquoise, I was sooo obsessed with the Lion King movie, and I loved playing this particular song on the piano. I also remember drawing a big portrait of Nala with my chalk pastels! Unfortunately, I had trouble capturing the incredible gold shimmer in Can You Feel the Love Tonight, but believe me, it's there, and it's amazeballs! The formula and coverage were excellent, and is shown here with three coats and top coat.

Glam Polish Topsy Turvy

Topsy Turvy is a beautiful raspberry/orchid pink with blue flecks and shimmer, and a strong linear holo effect. This was another stunning color that seemed to change depending on the lighting and angle. The formula was perfect, very smooth and even, and looked great with three coats and top coat, as pictured here.

As someone who grew up in Anaheim California, home of the Enchanted Kingdom, I have a very special affinity for these magical colors. And the fact that they're all head-over-heels gorgeous is a wonderful bonus! Glam Polish has created another stellar collection with perfect formulas and incredibly unique colors and finishes, and I would highly recommend trying any and all of these, and of course singing along to your favorite Disney tunes while applying them.

  1. Hey, I was obsessed with The Lion King too!! I played on a couple of Lion King MUCKs back in the mid-90s, and I even learned a little Zulu...
