Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer: Once More, with Feeling Special Re-Release

I have a highly-anticipated collection that I've really been looking forward to sharing with you all, the re-release of the awesome-tastic "Once More, with Feeling" collection from Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer, a set of gorgeous holographic polishes inspired by "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," awww yiiissss!! Keep reading to see TONS more photos and my review!

We Saved the World, I Say We Party! is a light grey-leaning-pink with beautiful pink shimmer and a strong linear holographic effect. This is definitely one of my favorite colors from the collection, and from BEGL, and also ever! I just love unusual, dusty colors like this, and it's such a flattering, delicate shade. The formula was great and looked opaque in just two coats. Here I'm wearing three coats with top coat.

Love Makes You Do the Wacky is a light, dusty lavender-blue with pink shimmer and a strong linear holographic effect. This has been a much-coveted favorite of mine from BEGL, and it's even more stunning in person! Not to mention, it's based on Willow, which in itself makes it flippin' awesome. The formula was great with an easy and smooth application, and looked opaque in 2-3 coats. Pictured here is three coats plus top coat.

Dorkhead?! You Slash Me with Your Words! is a light, dusty sage green with green shimmer and a strong linear holographic effect. formula was very good, slightly patchy on the first coat but evened out nicely by the second and third coat. Would definitely look opaque in two coats but I went with 3 for photographs. Shown here is three coats with top coat.

Since it was terribly overcast when I took photos of Dorkhead earlier, I decided to take a few extra photos this weekend while it was nice and sunny (and hot!) However, in the battle between my nails and the refrigerator drawer (yeah :/), I lost, so please don't mind the nubbins!

Tea is Soothing. I Wish to be Tense. is a light, silvery powder-blue with blue shimmer and a strong linear holographic effect. Gorgeous color and finish, and I loove how strong the prismatic effect is! This one applied very easily and had a superb formula, looking smooth and with even coverage in two coats. Shown here is three coats with cop coat.

Tact is Just Saying Not True Stuff, I'll Pass. is a light, silvery khaki (taupe/green) with celadon-green shimmer and a strong linear holographic effect. Another beautiful and unusual color! The formula was very good, and looked opaque in two coats. It does require careful, quick application, and you may see some brushstrokes. Here I'm wearing three coats with cop coat.

I'm Going Through Some... Changes. is a warm, milk-chocolate shimmer with copper sparkle and a strong linear holographic effect. Such a delectable color; this is a brown I can totally get on board with! Excellent formula with a smooth, even application, and it looked opaque in just two coats. Pictured here is three coats with top coat.

I Fought For My Soul is a rich, deep blood-red with gunmetal flakies and a strong linear holographic effect. Oh wow, yes, just-- absolutely yes. This red is so gorgeous, and just seems to glow in full sun... almost like it's on fire, whaaat?! I Fought For My Soul was one of the revamped (pun intended) colors from the first collection. I loved the formula; it applied fantastically and had great coverage in just two coats. Here I'm wearing two coats plus top coat.

The Last Time I Tortured Someone, They Didn't Even *Have* Chainsaws is a deep black holographic with red flecks and shimmer. This is another new polish to this collection was inspired by Angelus (aka Angel when he lost his soul, again) and it captures his evil-yet-still-so-sexy persona sooo perfectly!! The formula was flawless with smooth, even application, and full coverage in just two coats. Shown here is two coats with top coat.

5x5 has a deep, indigo-violet jelly base with sparks of blue and fuchsia and a very strong linear holographic effect. This was the special bonus polish included with purchase of the full collection, however, unfortunately, Julie has already run out of this one-- sorry folks! I'll try not to rave about this one too much, but it really is a lovely color! The formula was good; thick at first, but applied very nicely after I added a bit of polish thinner, and looked opaque in about three coats. Pictured here is three coats and top coat.

I am so glad that Julie decided to bring this collection back, and I just love the changes and additions she's made to these brilliant holos! The Once More, with Feeling collection is available now at Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer's shop, while supplies last.
