Cupcake Polish: Modern Vampire

With Halloween just around the corner, it's time for all things spooky and eerie (and pumpkin-y!), and Cupcake Polish has a brand new collection of delightfully dark and dazzling colors that will leave you spellbound!

Cupcake Polish Re-Vamped

Re-Vamped is a super rich, deep emerald-teal with a strong linear holographic effect. This color, oh my goodness-- it's like having your fingertips adorned in sparkling jewels! Another superb formula that applied beautifully, and was very pigmented! This was nearly a one-coater, and looked fully opaque in two. Here I'm wearing two coats with top coat.

Cupcake Polish Bat-chelor Pad

Bat-chelor Pad is a deep, midnight-blue with a strong linear holographic effect. I love that this blue is just slightly muted, yet still so rich and saturated! Also I love bats, and silly puns (both of which are wonderful, just sometimes misunderstood). The formula was flawless with an easy application and great coverage in 1-2 coats. Shown here is two coats plus top coat.

Cupcake Polish Coffin Break

Coffin Break (another great pun guys!) is a dark, coffee-brown with a very strong linear holographic effect. This also has a gorgeous bronze/pink glow in direct light, and a strong blue holo flame. If you were wondering which brown polish would perfectly embody everything you love about Fall, this is it, it's this one! As with the others, the formula was excellent, and had amazing coverage in only two coats. Here I'm wearing three coats plus top coat.

Cupcake Polish Down for the Count

Down for the Count is a camel-colored creme with a strong linear holographic effect. This is such a perfect neutral for fall, reminiscent of an autumn harvest. My complexion photographs a bit reddish with this color on, but it's beautiful, so who cares! The formula was excellent, with a smooth, creamy application and great coverage in just two coats. Pictured here is three coats plus top coat.

Cupcake Polish Blood Hound

Blood Hound is a dark, vibrant burgundy-merlot with a very strong linear holographic effect. This is absolutely one of my favorites! In direct light, this color seems to glow a stunning ruby red, and the strong violet arc adds beautiful dimension. Another superb, very pigmented formula that applied perfectly, with full coverage in two coats. Shown  with three coats plus top coat.

I honestly just love all of these. The colors are rich, pigmented, and beautiful colors for Fall, and they'd look fantastic on any bat-loving creature of the night (and humans, too!) The collection is set to launch this Saturday, September 26th at Cupcake Polish's shop. My personal favorites are probably Blood Hound and Coffin Break. Which colors are you most excited to sink your fangs into?
