See Spot Run is described as a sapphire-blue jelly with a mix of dot glitter, silver holo micro-glitter and aqua sparks. I love this fun, beautiful mix of colors! The jelly base is perfect, with just the right amount of coverage to let the glitters show through and still look opaque in about 2-4 coats, depending on preference. The glitters laid down fairly smoothly, although I did add a coat of Gelous and top coat to even it out. Pictured here is four coats, although I think three would have been sufficient.
October is Adopt a Shelter Dog Month! Last year, we released a limited edition charity polish to raise money for shelter animals. The fundraiser was so successful that we knew we would have to do it again this year! Keep reading for details and to learn why this cause is so important!

About 3.9 million dogs enter U.S. shelters every year, and 1.2 million dogs are euthanized (800,000 of them pit bulls and pit bull mixes like Trudy). Adopt a Shelter Dog Month seeks to call attention to the plight of these animals and to encourage people to adopt dogs rather than going to a breeder. The vision of the ASPCA is "a humane community in which all animals are treated with respect and kindness." Donations to the ASPCA support a variety of causes, including:
· Grants to shelters nationwide
· Spay/neuter and microchipping programs
· Adoption, fostering and relocation programs
· Investigation and seizure of abused animals
· Lobbying for anti-cruelty legislation

This is a truly lovely and unique polish benefiting a wonderful cause that is dear to me as well. We adopted our kitty and two pups from local shelters, and I just can't imagine life without these furry goofballs!
