Good evening lovely readers! I have six new shades from Emily de Molly's September release that I'm super excited to share with you all tonight!
Modern Luster is a bright, red-toned creamy pink filled with strong gold sparkling shimmer. This is such a delightful color that can really change depending on the lighting, looking more pink or almost red, depending. It reminds me of a ripe, juicy watermelon! This had a wonderful formula that was smooth, easy to work with, and opaque in just two coats. Here I'm wearing three coats plus top coat.
Reflection is a bright turquoise creme with a linear holographic effect. This is another color that I just loved wearing, it's so bright and flattering! The formula was excellent, with a smooth and effortless application and full coverage in 2-3 coats. Pictured here is three coats without top coat.
Perfect Oasis is a bright, cobalt/cornflower blue, just slightly pastel, with a super linear holographic effect. My goodness is this color beautiful! It's perfectly bright-yet-soft, and definitely one of my favorite colors of blue. This had a fantastic formula that was opaque in about two coats. Shown here with three coats and top coat.
Future Royal? is a vibrant fuchsia-pink jelly full of golden shimmer and iridescent orange, gold, and green flakies. The base for this is somewhere between a jelly and a crelly, and was just perfect: opaque enough to give full coverage in just a few coats, yet slightly translucent so that the beautiful shimmer and flakies come through. A truly breathtaking shade! Here I have on three coats with top coat.
The Glaring is a deep navy-leaning-teal jelly full of strong, iridescent green shimmer and varying small sizes of holographic silver hex glitters. This color is a glowing nebula, it's truly phenomenal! The formula is perfection, with just the right jelly consistency: smooth, nicely opaque, and even, The glitters laid very well on their own, though I still added a coat of Gelous to smooth things out. Here I'm wearing three coats with a coat of Gelous plus top coat.
New Life is a bright, green apple-colored ultra linear holographic full of golden shimmer, with a subtle foil-like effect. The gold shimmer is somewhat subtle, but is visible in direct light. Again, just beautiful, right? I love this color and the amazing depth it has! The formula is flawless; it looked slightly sheer in the first couple of coats, but built up nicely with a third. Shown here is three coats without top coat.
I am continuously blown away by the brilliant colors Emily de Molly creates. The formulas are consistently outstanding, and they're so seriously gorgeous! My top picks from this release are The Glaring, Future Royal?, and Perfect Oasis, but I absolutely love them all. What do you think of these new colors? Are there any you'll be picking up?

ReplyDeleteI just ordered and picked up the Great and Small COTM and the Pink LE C4N exclusive that I didn't have. I should have picked up New Life too, really love this one after seeing your photos. All of these are amazing, although The Glaring is at the top of my list... Have been loving each of her releases equally and wishing I could get them all!! :) Thanks for sharing.
