Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer: Spooky Siren & Siren's Guiding Light

I have a somewhat belated (but still super awesome!) post featuring two special, limited-edition Siren series colors from Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer to share with you all tonight!

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Siren's Guiding Light

Siren's Guiding Light is a blue-toned light grey creme with iridescent blue-violet shimmer and a strong linear holographic effect. The subtle shimmer in this complements the soft grey beautifully! This was a color for a wonderful cause, too. It's part of the third annual Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer "Depression Awareness Fundraiser" benefiting I Need a Lighthouse, Inc, a depression and suicide education awareness program. This had a very good formula, and applied slightly thick, with great coverage in 2-3 coats. Shown here is three coats with top coat.

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Spooky Siren

Spooky Siren is a green-toned medium grey creme full of silver and iridescent blue-green shimmer with a linear holographic effect. I'm very partial to greys, and this beauty is no exception! The holo is just beautiful, and I love the "spooky" hint of green peeking through. This also had a great formula, and was just a little thick, looking opaque in just two coats. Here I have on three coats plus top coat.

Although these two colors are no longer available, I hope you'll still enjoy them, and I encourage you to follow Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer on her Facebook page for information on limited releases and Siren polishes so as not to miss out!
