The Holo Hookup: From the Holo Hookup, with Love

Hey there folks! Today I have a preview of The Holo Hookup's upcoming box for May, "From the Holo Hookup, with Love." These prismatic hues are inspired by famous cities around the world, and include polishes from Different Dimension, Cupcake Polish, Glisten & Glow, and this month's guest contributor, Painted Polish.

Inspiration Collage for The Holo Hookup May Box

Different Dimension From Cairo, with Love...

Different Dimension "From Cairo, with Love" is a champagne-beige linear holographic filled with pink shimmer and light gold flakies. This color is the perfect balance of beige of gold, and the hint of blushing pink makes it especially lovely! It had a superb formula and applied very easily, and looked fully opaque in 2-3 coats. Pictured here is three coats with top coat.

Cupcake Polish From Cancun, with Love

Cupcake Polish "From Cancun, with Love" is a rich turquoise ultra-linear holographic shimmer full of iridescent green-to-blue flakies. Wow, that is some serious holo! And the color is that amazing bright, tropical waters blue. Wonderful formula, very smooth and even, and built up nicely in 2-3 coats. Shown with three coats and top coat.

Glisten & Glow From Tokyo, with Love

Glisten & Glow "From Tokyo, with Love" is a vibrant coral-red super-linear holographic with iridescent pink shimmer flecks. This red is so gorgeous; it reminds me of painted lacquer soup bowls and daruma dolls! The formula was fantastic, with a smooth, even, application and full coverage in 2-3 coats. Here I'm wearing three coats plus top coat.

Glisten & Glow From Tokyo, with Love vs. Fire

I thought I'd compare this to another beautiful rich red color by Glisten & Glow from a previous THH box themed "The Elements," called "Fire." As you can see, "Fire" is a slightly darker, more berry-leaning red. Both of these reds are absolutely stunning!

Painted Polish From London, with Love

Painted Polish "From London, with Love" is a dusty cornflower blue ultra-linear holographic shimmer with silver holo micro-glitter. This beautiful soft blue had an amazingly strong prismatic effect with little pops of sparkle. It applied like a dream and looked fully opaque in two coats. Pictured here is three coats with top coat.

The interpretations of these spectacular cities are so super gorgeous and spot-on! And, of course, full of glorious rainbows. The May "From the Holo Hookup, with Love" box will be available for pre-order starting April 21st at 9pm EST through April 28th 9pm EST from The Holo Hookup's shop.
