We're seeing more and more of these shifting pigment topcoats, which is absolutely wonderful, but Shift Happens may just be my favorite so far. Like the coveted Clarins 230, it has a color shift of orange-gold-green. The effect is most striking over darker colors such as royal blue or black. I chose to layer it over a dusty navy with gold shimmer (dupe of L.A. Girl Idol) and was very pleased with the outcome!
The other similar topcoat I have is from Max Factor, Fantasy Fire, but I much prefer Girly Bits' version. Since the base isn't colored, it never has that annoying streaky look if I don't apply it evenly enough, and I found the density of the shimmer to be better as well.
