Darling Diva: Cray Cray, Shadow Puppets, & Bubble Time (pre-revision)

Today I have a few beautiful polishes sent from Darling Diva to share with you!

Darling Diva Cray Cray

Cray Cray is a very unique topper with a lot of awesome going on! It combines a lovely lavender-pink-copper shift with a holographic effect, and is most intense layered over darker colors. Here I have it swatched over Essie Naughty Nautical, a vibrant teal. I love this combination! It's almost like a holographic "Aqua Lily".

The formula was excellent, smooth and very even. Here I used two coats over Naughty Naughtical.

The shift in Cray Cray was a bit difficult for me to capture, but it is visible, mostly at certain angles.

And check out that beautiful holo along with the lavender shimmer! Cray Cray is really fabulous outdoors.

Darling Diva Shadow Puppets

Shadow Puppets is a white crelly with various-sized black, gunmetal, and silver glitter, along with black circles, hearts, and stars. The concept behind this color is so cool, and the shapes really do resemble silhouettes against the white!

The base is somewhat sheer, but builds up nicely in 3-4 coats, or could be layered over white for a more opaque look. The formula was excellent and the glitters came out and applied easily, and without becoming too bulky. I did use a coat of Gelous to even out the larger glitters, however.

Darling Diva Bubble Time

My version of Bubble Time contained some glitters that bled, causing the base to look pale blue instead of white. It has since been revamped, but I thought I'd share the light blue version since it's still pretty cool looking! Bubble Time is a rainbow explosion of small and medium circle glitters in a white crelly base. It really reminds me of Birthday balloons, especially since it's so fun and festive. Like Shadow Puppets, Bubble Time has a sheer but build-able crelly base.

Darling Diva Polish colors are for sale in her Etsy shop as well as through Llarowe. Also make sure to like Darling Diva on Facebook for pictures of new colors, special deals, and giveaways!

  2. Gorgeous swatches as usual. :) I actually really like Bubble Time with the light blue base. Rainbow glitter in white crelly bases are everywhere, but the light blue makes it unique. Thanks for sharing!

    1. I agree, I liked the pale blue! It's different. And lends to that "balloons floating in the sky" look. :P
