Blushing Winter Dawn Nail Art

Lately I've been wanting to do more themed/inspired nail art, to celebrate winter and the holidays, using my favorite colors of the season: the soft, cold, and snowy shades of winter. So I put together this manicure inspired by the beautiful blue and pink frosty hues of a winter sunrise.

I painted Zoya Kendal, one of my favorite blue-grey cremes, as the base, and sponged muted lavender and rose around the edges, and bits of sparkling pink shimmer on top. Then I stamped on a few scattered snowflakes with my Bundle Monster BM14 plate, and a pretty brocade pattern from BM20. The colors are very subtle together, but I really love how it turned out!

Inspiration: Winter Sunset

Polishes used: Zoya Kristen, Zoya Kendal, Models Own Indian Ocean, China Glaze Pink-ie Promise, SpaRitual Driftwood, Layla Softouch Effect 03 Stone

I've been browsing through the gorgeous vintage paper textures on Far Far Hill's website and collected a bunch of them for my color & pattern inspiration-- aren't they simply lovely?

Stay warm, and Happy Holidays everyone!

  2. Ugh, gorgeous. Indian Ocean has been in my untrieds pile for about a year now, and now I think I know how to use it!
