After one extremely unsuccessful attempt, I decided to give water marbling another go today, and I'm super pleased that I did. Take a look!

KBShimmer "Fallen Angel" Soap |
I absolutely love this particular soap from KBShimmer, a marbled mint, pink, lavender, and black soap called "Fallen Angel," and wanted to try a water marbling manicure based on its beautiful combination of colors. I started with Essie Turquoise & Caicos, a gorgeous dusty green-mint crelly, as my base. And after a good deal of experimenting with water temperatures and various polishes, I was finally dipping and swirling! The colors I used were Essie First Timer, Revlon Enchanting, Orly Lollipop, And Revlon Black Lingerie. The pastels all worked perfectly, but I really need to find a more darker black that works well in water!
It's far from perfect, but I think it's a really fun mix of colors and I'm happy with how it turned out. I also have an even greater respect for pro water marblers like My Simple Little Pleasures, she makes it look so easy! I'll definitely be trying more water marble manicures in the future, and I hope that practice will make perfect!
What a gorgeous marble <3
