I recently picked up a few colors from Zoya's amazing Naturel collection during their recent "Color Your World" promo and decided to coordinate them together in a vintage-inspired floral stamped manicure!
This look was inspired by The Mercurial Magpie's gorgeous stamping and gradient manis she created using the Zoya Naturel shades. The colors really work perfectly together, and actually made me excited for neutrals! For my own design, I started with L'Oreal's Eva's Nude, a lovely yellow-toned beige with faint golden pink shimmer-- probably not the most flattering shade for my cool-toned skin, but I just love it! The formula was good, and needed 3-4 coats to become solid.
Next I sponged Zoya Rue, a pale, dusty rose, around the edges to create subtle "worn" look. And finally I stamped Zoya Brigette (a light muted mauve) and Odette (beautiful subdued orchid) in pretty floral and leaf patterns using Pueen plates Pueen15 and Pueen06.
Later I dabbed on little patches of this beautiful golden-lavender iridescent shimmer from Bonne Bell to add a little extra sparkle!
Love this, the shimmer especially just takes it over the top!!!! <3
ReplyDeleteThank you Kirby! And thank you for the inspiration! ;D
DeleteWoah, I love this! Super subtle pretty! It never occurred to me that I could wear yellower bases by balancing them out with something rosey, woah. I think Eva's Nude looks Great on you like this, don't even worry.
ReplyDeleteThat's a really good way of looking at it, I hadn't thought of that! I think perhaps you have discovered the secret to wearing colors I didn't think I could pull off!
DeleteLovely manicure!
ReplyDeleteThank you! :)
