Valentine's Day Sweet Retro Bows

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day, full of chocolate or romance or polish, or whatever you're into! I knew that whatever my husband and I ended up doing would be fun (like staying home and playing video games together), especially with some sweet, romantic nail art!

I've been fantasy shopping on ModCloth quite a bit recently, and wanted to do a fun retro-inspired mani. I decided to go with a kind of spectator shoe look, and used a creamy ivory, SpaRitual Driftwood, as my base color. Next I added Nicole by OPI Selena and did a free-hand french tip using All Lacquered Up's super easy how-to, and finally stamped on a cute bow with stripes with Digital Nails Super Temp using Konad plate m56.

Later, I also added a turquoise half moon and little dots to look like buttons!

What did you do this year for Valentine's? Was it fun and memorable, just another day, or the perfect excuse to eat all of the chocolate? (I seriously love chocolate.)

    1. Yeah, it's the perfect creamy ivory! Looks just like Zoya Jacqueline but without the subtle pearlescent sheen.

  2. This is too cute! You captured the inspiration perfectly, ModCloth should make you their official hand model :D
