Femme Fatale: New Releases, Part 2

And now for the final installment of the newest releases from Femme Fatale Cosmetics! I saved some of the best for last, so read on to see more pictures of these bright and sparkly beauties!

Do It For Twinkles is a hot pink jelly filled with neon pink matte glitter hexes, squares, and stars, iridescent gold glitter, and gold shimmer. The pink and gold look perfectly magical together! This color was inspired by the tragic end of a glorious star pony, and captures her sweet twinkle flawlessly! I decided to layer Do It For Twinkles over a pink creme, although it could be worn on its own for a sheer, ethereal look. The formula was wonderful and very easy to work with and apply evenly. Pictured here is two coats over Forever 21 Hibiscus along with a coat of Gelous and top coat.

Celestial Steed

Mermaiden's Adoration is a mix of satin pastel mint and white circles and hexes, holographic and gold glitter, and iridescent gold/green glitter and sparkle in a clear base. The sea green and gold in this polish pair beautifully together, and really evoke the idea of a gilded, deep-sea siren-- or a spooky sea-witch, as in the case of the Naga Mermaiden! The formula was very good and easy to apply, and the glitters laid smoothly. Shown here is 2-3 coats over NYC Mint Macaroon plus a coat of Gelous and top coat.

"Ink" by Anna Dittman

Sorrowmurk is a beautifully sparkly blend of metallic and holographic gold, iridescent orange, and matte pastel yellow glitter in hexes, circles and squares, along with iridescent gold sparkle, in a clear base. This polish is a fantastic way to add tons of glitz and sparkle to any color, I love it! Inspired by the Swamp of Sorrows, I have to say I prefer this far more glittery version of the murky murloc-infested swamp. The formula was very good and easy to evenly apply the various glitters, with some fishing needed for the larger circles and squares. Due to the large size of the glitters, this polish does require an extra coat of top coat or Gelous to smooth out. Here I'm wearing three dabbed coats over Sinful Colors Prosecco with two coats of Gelous and top coat.

Dark Forest

Sunspring is a bright peach pastel creme with gold flakes and iridescent gold shimmer. This color is just incredible, and reminiscent of a dazzling sunrise over Nagrand. The gold flecks and sparkle are more noticeable in person and give it amazing texture and depth. Sunspring has a very good formula; it's pretty smooth, but just a touch patchy, due to the pastel neon color. Here I have on about 3-4 coats with top coat.

Nagrand

Temple Gardens is a mix of holographic rose-pink and satin pastel pink circles, squares, and hexes of various sizes, as well as sparkling blue shimmer, in a clear base. This gorgeous glitter topper makes me think of the falling cherry blossom petals in Pandaria, particularly in the Jade Forest. The formula was very good; the glitters came out easily and had an even application, with some fishing needed for the large circles. Pictured here is 2-3 coats over Sunspring plus two coats of Gelous and top coat.

Meiying, Beautiful Flower

What can I say? I just love all of these! The glitters are beautifully complementary mixes of colors, and the inspirations behind them make them even more special. And once again, these polishes are on sale right now and are on their way out, so be sure to grab them while you can!
