Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer: Happy Hour at the Blue Parrot & August Siren

I have a couple of brand-new, super special limited-edition colors from Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer to share with you all this evening! Here is Julie's contribution to this month's Destination Polish Collaboration, as well as the newest Siren series color.

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Happy Hour at the Blue Parrot

Happy Hour at the Blue Parrot is a juicy, vibrant red-orange jelly full of pink and orange shimmer. Such a gorgeous color, reminiscent of a tropical sunset! It looked nicely opaque in three coats, although I added a fourth coat to show the richness of the color. Pictured here is four coats plus top coat.

The second polish in the Destination Polish Duo is from Literary Lacquers, and is called Gulf Coast Twilight. It's a soft, dusky twilight-purple linear holo with iridescent gold flakies and a touch of orange shimmer. Check out Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer's Facebook page for photos of this lovely color.

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Siren Channels the 80s

Siren Channels the 80s is a fluorescent lime-green jelly full of multi-colored holographic and rainbow iridescent micro-glitter. This green is totally 80's pop-tastic, I love it! And, despite being a super-bright neon green, it covered very well on its own (no undies needed!), and didn't stain the nails or cuticles. The formula was excellent and had an easy application, and looked opaque in 2-3 coats. Here I'm wearing three coats plus top coat.

Don't these colors just scream Summer fun?! I think they'll look especially great on warm & beach-bronzed complexions (natural or spray-on!), although I loved them on my skin tone as well! As I mentioned, these are limited-edition colors so be sure to grab these for your next pool party before they're gone!
