Glam Polish: Queen of Mean Collection

Hello lovely readers! Tonight I'm sharing the new "Queen of Mean" collection, a fun and eclectic mix of fabulous, fashion-inspired colors from Glam Polish!

Glam Polish B*#tch Stole My Look

B*#tch Stole My Look is a deep burgundy-merlot with brown undertones and a very strong linear holographic effect. Such a beautifully rich, vampy color! This one is somewhat of a chameleon, and varies from glowing cinnamon to beautiful wine color. The formula was flawless, with a smooth application and excellent coverage in only 1-2 coats. Shown with two coats and top coat.

Glam Polish Can You Please Spell "GABBANA"?

Can You Please Spell “GABBANA”? is a pastel coral/salmon crelly with a linear holographic effect. This soft, beautiful blush is so sweet and springtime-y! It had a smooth, creamy formula, that looked very even and opaque in just two coats. Here I'm wearing three coats plus top coat.

Glam Polish Gotta Have It! Make It Stop!

Gotta Have It! Make It Stop! has a holographic base filled with metallic and holographic aqua, dark blue, magenta, and silver micro-glitter and iridescent purple flecks. This is so ultra-sparkly, and a really unique and complimentary mix of colors. The formula was superb, and looked very even and opaque in 2-3 coats. It's very glittery so it does dry slightly gritty, but smooths out well with a little extra top coat. Pictured here with three coats and a coat of Gelous with top coat.

Glam Polish I don't do Fashion. I am Fashion.

I don’t do Fashion. I am Fashion. is a deep, royal-blue shimmer with a subtle violet shift and a sprinkling of holographic micro-glitter. The rich, velvety blue resembles a sparkling night sky; just lovely. This had a perfect formula and was very even and opaque in two coats. Shown here is three coats and top coat.

Glam Polish Starlet or Streetwalker?

Starlet or Streetwalker? is a rich raspberry/fuchsia crelly with a scattered/soft linear holo effect. This just seems to glow with pink sparkle-- it's such a beautiful, flattering color! This had an excellent formula with smooth, opaque, and effortless coverage in 1-2 coats. Here I'm wearing three coats with top coat.

Glam Polish Florals? For Spring. Groundbreaking.

Florals? For Spring. Groundbreaking. is a light, slightly dusty lavender creme with a linear holographic effect filled with glass flecks and silver holo micro-glitter. Such a beautiful, soft color, and definitely one of my personal favorites. This had an excellent formula with effortless application and full coverage in about two coats. Pictured with three coats and top coat.

Glam Polish What Exactly is She Wearing?

What Exactly is She Wearing? is a linear holographic charcoal base filled with a colorful mix of tiny metallic rainbow glitter and silver holo micro-glitter. The multi-colored glitters really pop against the dark grey base! The formula was fantastic, and had a very even application with great coverage in two coats. Shown here with three coats and top coat.

Glam Polish Attitude is Everything

Attitude is Everything is a vibrant jade/seafoam green crelly with an intense linear holographic effect. I love, love this bright, pastel green-- it's so lush and perfect for spring! The formula was excellent, with an easy application and great coverage in two coats. Pictured here is three coats and top coat.

Glam Polish Big Girls Need Big Diamonds

Big Girls Need Big Diamonds is a periwinkle-tinted silver ultra holographic filled with silver holo micro-glitter and iridescent blue-violet flecks. This one is insanely sparkly, and one of my absolute favorites! I just love how this color looks beautifully subdued and elegant yet flashy and totally fabulous. This had a fantastic formula, and application was even and flawless with perfect coverage in 2-3 coats. Here I'm wearing three coats and top coat.

When I first received this collection from Rachel, I had to ask her if there was some kind of mix-up with the colors I received-- they were just so different from what I've seen from her before! She replied,

"The Queen of Mean collection was a bit of a labor of love for me. It is a very eclectic mix of colors that I took from different fashion styles. I wanted a mix of high fashion, trashy, flashy, bright and light shades. They are definitely not my usual mix of rainbow shades, but I'm hoping people will like the inspiration for them!"

Oh yes, yes we do! These colors were inspired by the world of celebrity and fashion, and the polish names were based on Fashion Police (television show), Devil wears Prada (awesome movie!), and famous celebrities & fashion designers.

Glam Polish's "Queen of Mean" collection is set to release tomorrow (Friday), February 5th, at 5pm EST USA (February 6th 8am AEST AUS). Which shades are you most wanting to accessorize with?
