I absolutely love these colors together-- they're sweet, whimsical, and a little bit funky! Hare's Spring collection is based around Marie Antoinette, and the colors are perfectly reminiscent of the lovely pastels and decadence of Rococo fashion, macaroons and cake, as well as the bright and bold color mixes unique to Hare.
The formula on Let Them Eat... What? was fantastic! Neither too thick nor too thin, perfect glitter density, and easy to smooth out and apply evenly. The base is a lovely blush-tinted white, but rather sheer, so I decided to layer it over a white crelly, Essie Marshmallow.
The glitters are a mix of satin pastel pink, transparent white, metallic gold, and a lovely matte poppy red, as well as a very subtle fleck/shimmer that you can see in the macro shot below.
I also picked up Rococo Grandeur and Dauphine of Decadence, and will have pictures of those up soon! Now that my nails look much like an extravagant pastry fit for a queen, I think it's time to indulge in some sweets, yum!
Oh man, great photos! You've reminded me I need to wear this Hare soon, it's absolutely gorgeous in the bottle & it looks stunning on you!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! Yeah it's a great color(s?), and wore really well too. One might feel compelled to *bite* their nails with it on, though. :3
DeleteYour link to Hare's Etsy shop points to Llarowe as well, just a heads-up! <3
ReplyDeleteOoh it sure does, thank you for letting me know! :D
