Different Dimension: Set it Free

Today I have three gorgeous scattered holographic polishes that I picked up/was sent by Different Dimension, the "Set it Free" collection. These polishes can be worn alone or layered over another color. Here I have them pictured on their own, and aren't they lovely?

Different Dimension Black Dahlia

Are there any Jrock fans out there? The first thing that comes to my mind with this polish is X Japan's song "Dahlia"-- ahh, sweet memories of visual kei! Black Dahlia is a beautiful charcoal grey scattered holograhpic polish packed with blue-purple iridescent glitters, and has a subtle fuchsia/purple shimmer that complements it perfectly. This one is my favorite of the three-- I just love how the iridescent glitters pop out against the dark grey!

Dahlia

As I mentioned, Black Dahlia is just so full of those tiny iridescent glitters that it does come out a little thick, however it was very easy to apply and smooth out. I believe I used 2-3 coats here. The iridescence and shimmer really add something special to this grey holo, and give it extra dimension and sparkle.

Different Dimension Stronger

Stronger is a light, dusty turquoise scattered holo and also contains a beautiful pink shimmer. The holo is a bit more visible in Stronger, and the color almost appears to change from blue to teal, depending on the lighting.

The consistency was excellent, very smooth and easy to work with; I needed about 2-3 coats to make it opaque.

Different Dimension Wide Awake

Wide Awake is a very pale pink/nude scattered holo with pink shimmer. The shimmer is more difficult to capture in this one since the color is so similar to the base, but it peeks through now and again.

Wide Awake

This one was a bit more sheer, needing about three coats for full coverage, and also had a smooth, wonderful formula. In full sunlight the pink shimmer is most visible, and looks beautiful with the prismatic colors!

I know, lots of photos! But these colors have so many beautiful aspects to them depending on the lighting (which is what I like about them so much!).

Different Dimension polishes are available for sale in her Etsy shop and on Llarowe. Also be sure to like her on Facebook for restock news and previews of new colors!
