Darling Diva "Queen" Collection: Bohemian Rhapsody

Today I have the first of six spectacular colors sent from Darling Diva Polish, a collection of SUPER multichromatic and holographic polishes inspired by the amazing songs of "Queen"!

Let's start with everyone's favorite operatic rock epic, Bohemian Rhapsody, a beautiful taupe that shifts bright green, teal, indigo, and even violet-pink. Indoors, the holographic sparkle is a little bit visible, but outdoors or in direct light is when it becomes truly spectacular, and appears as a tightly scattered holo. And, much to my wild delight and amazement, the color shift is just as vivid and apparent in full sun, making Bohemian Rhapsody basically the coolest thing ever.

The formula is perfect; easy to apply and very even, with almost no visible brushstrokes. Since it's basically pure pigment, Bohemian Rhapsody is somewhat sheer on its own, so I layered two coats over a dark, muted navy, Revlon Urban. If you chose to layer it by itself it would become opaque in about 3-4 coats.

I can't even words. Just look at this incredible color! That's what it *actually* looks like!

The Queen collection polishes will be available this Saturday at Darling Diva's Big Cartel store opening. These colors are packed with awesome, and will retail for a little more at $15 apiece. They're also limited edition colors so make sure to follow Darling Diva on Facebook so you don't miss out!

  2. Super pretty! I think scattered holos have gotten really left behind in the linear holo craze, but they're gorgeous in their own right.
